He has conquered

In our lives, it is very easy to fall prey to the many forces in our lives that are beyond our control. Economic forces, military forces, the forces of friendships and relationships, and the forces of evil. We can feel helpless to challenge these forces that shape our lives.
When these forces beat us down, and perhaps even demoralize us, there is one important fact that we must not lose sight of: Jesus has conquered the world. In the old cartoons, there was always an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other. This might make us think that this is an even matchup. It is not.
Not only is it not a fair fight, it is a fight that is already over. Satan is a creation of God. Not His equal, not even a worthy opponent. God could create a thousand heavenly beings each capable of defeating Satan if He wanted. But He doesn't. Instead, He comes himself. He takes care of it Himself. We are worth that much to Him. He will battle Satan by taking the form of the being that Satan despises: mankind. He will defeat him through His Son become man. Son of God, Son of Man.
In the amazing drama of His passion and death, He makes Satan feel like the victor, and then through the Eucharist, through the Resurrection, through Pentecost He divinizes mankind and raises all who believe in Him above Satan, so that by our belief and life in Him we will also be victors and conquerors. We are more than conquerors, we are heirs - through Christ Jesus. Remember that today in the face of all that might challenge you.
Love the way you express what I am feeling
